Hello Genies,
I was wondering if there were any updates to the search feature for videos on the horizon? With the new updated website there are a vast amount of resources and I’m finding it hard to narrow down the search to relative topics. Right now it doesn’t seem to catch incomplete phrases or single words that well. Do you have any updates on the way that will increase it’s capabilities?
Also, many thanks for this great website. The new features are amazing and the lessons are second to none!
Cheers,
The Definition. -

I’m realizing that I didn’t give a proper example so I thought I’d add that. For instance, if one searches the term “liquid”, only 3 videos show up as a result, even thought there are other video titles that contain the word, ie: SATL – LIQUID WORKFLOW [PART 1]

Hey!
Thanks for getting in touch, checking this in the example you give, when we enter ‘Liquid’ the search returns:
14 individual videos inc the Satl Liquid Workflow video.
can you screen shot what you get please?

Hello,
Thanks for the quick reply. My results seem to show much less when doing the same. As requested, I have included a screenshot to show how things look on my end.

No problem at all and thanks to your screenshot, I’ve found some content relative to what I was searching for as well!

Hi all,
was just seeing if there was a ever a fix to this? I’ve noticed when I type in a key word to search e.g. drums, snare, kick, or if I search for an artist e.g. Quadrant, Billain, Amoss nothing appears in the search?
Would be good to get this fixed as at the moment I am having to sift through 27 pages to find what I am after.

Hey… yes the issue seems to have been a bit stranger than we first thought… working on some accounts and not on others. We’ll have this fixed very soon. Update you all shortly! 😀

Greetings gang…
This niggling little bug should now be fixed once and for all….!
You should have 9 seasons of videos at your fingertips using either the tags or keyword / artist searches 😀If you can give it a test and confirm it’s all good for you guys that would be great x

Yoooo, you guys absolutely rock for following up with this! The videos are now showing up on my end as well now. The only thing I’d suggest, is to allow results to show up with incomplete search terms, ie: “kicks show up when some searches just the letters kic”
Big ups to you all for the support and a thanks special thanks to Destro as well for the assisting with the follow up.

Glad to have it fixed and thanks for your feedback too, so helpful <3
Just to mention the search tool should return results for incomplete terms, using your example we get:
