Watching the creative approach video, recorded by Lenzman, he features a lot of samples, stating that are from his ‘sample pack’. Are those samples going to be released throughout the fifth season of Sample Genie, or is it a separated sample pack that we can purchase?
Thank you

I think he’s got a sample pack that recently came out on loopmaster.

If you look closely in the video, the samples he uses are from a Sample Genie folder. This is my first month as a subscriber. I watched the vid first then got the sample pack. I was quite disappointed with how light the pack is to be honest. A pack that size would be nice once a fortnight, not just monthly.

The price of the monthly membership is based on a combination of a tutorial and a sample pack. For £9.99 we are confident this is a good price. And we make sure the samples are all excellent quality, nothing unusable like you may find elsewhere. This month there were 83 samples over 289 MB, when you know how long it takes these artists to make the sounds, you’ll know it’s good value.
Here’s what Halogenix said just this week:” the stuff I’ve put in the pads section is fucking killer, spent a long time on some of ‘em, days even..”
And you have to remember these guys have been doing production at a top level for years, some into the decades.. so to get their wisdom and hand made sounds for the price of 2-3 drinks each month – we are aware it’s value.
The other thing would be to consider, if we delivered double this amount in samples every month, people would need to be writing a HELL of a lot of tunes to really get to know the sounds and use them all!
Thanks for the interaction though and we hope you enjoy collecting the sounds moving forwards

Clearly buying that one. To be honest, this sample pack and Breakage’s Rolling drum and bass pack is way more than enough. (for me)

I really love this ethos, and it’s something that I usually practice. I tend to work with what I have, putting these constraints in a creative way and towards learning the tools at hand before reaching out for a bigger hammer. Like Sebastian Mullaert said, freedom is not to do whatever you want, but to be free doing what you do.

The sample pack Lenzman did on Loopmasters isn’t the one used in this tutorial but is a must have sample pack nonetheless – great sounds.
