INFINITUM transforms sample discovery into an experience rather than a search. Every session becomes an exploratory journey where sounds can be morphed, resampled, regenerated and tested before you ever download them.
Instead of rapidly flicking through folders, INFINITUM encourages you to stop, experiment and let ideas evolve. Afterall, every sample is the beginning of a creative process rather than the end of one.
At it’s core is the Sample Genie library, a towering collection of over 17’000 D&B samples, powered by advanced DSP and AI-assisted processing. The platform offers a myriad of creative pathways from a single starting point. Infact, we crunched the numbers and there are around 6 million morph combinations alone, without even factoring in the processing, resampling and manifold variables. So the options are for all intents and purposes, infinite.
Three fundamentally different approaches to spectral morphing.
The Engine
Spectral morphing sorcery.
The apex feature of INFINITUM has to be its spectral morphing engine. Featuring three expertly created modes,COVALENT, SEQUENT & MANGLEMORPH each built for different creative outcomes.
Combining advanced DSP with AI augmentation, two source sounds can be blended, bent and reformed into entirely new sonic material. Under the hood, a hybrid analysis & transform system examines both pitch and harmonic coherence alongside the more ambiguous, noisy and textural characteristics of each sound. Rather than simply forcing every source through the same process, these complementary representations help the engine decide what should align, what should remain independent, and what can be transformed.
The result isn’t simply two sounds layered together. It’s an attempt to extract the most interesting characteristics of each and forge them into a coherent third sound.

Modular Rack
Processing that behaves like an instrument.
Because we know processing is so central to the Drum & Bass aesthetic, INFINITUM’s effects rack was designed to be more than some plugins.
Every module can be rearranged simply by dragging it into a different position in the signal chain. The same processors produce entirely different results depending on what’s feeding into them.
Experiment: audition ideas and completely reshape sounds before you decide to download them. Save the processed version, the original; or both.

Spectral Editing
See sound from a new perspective.
One of the most creative aspects of INFINITUM is its built-in spectral editing toolset.
Samples can be refined, sculpted or completely mangled in ways that are difficult to achieve by ordinary means. We use a customised FFT/STFT-based approach that retains the original phase information from the source STFT while allowing its spectral magnitude to be reshaped.
Because INFINITUM is designed around complex D&B and neuro sound design — noisy textures, shifting resonances, rapid movement and often ambiguous pitch — we deliberately favour a high-resolution linear-frequency representation rather than forcing every sound into a strictly pitch-centred analysis like some more, conventional, methods can do when dealing with traditional instruments and sounds…
Spectral editing makes you quite literally see sound differently, encouraging new and imaginative routes into sample design.
Carve sweeping organic filter effects into reeses, pads and leads using
SUBTLE KNIFE,
or get more clinical with
LASER.
Other tools include BLACK HOLE, HARMONIK and REDUCER.
We deliberately left out an EQ — these spectral tools are the creative compromise.

INFINITUM features a kit of carefully incorperated, ethically built, AI tools designed to enhance the artistic process; never to replace it.

METAMORPHOSIS uses your own written descriptions to alter sounds, a process we have termed ‘Emergent Resampling’.
Make something more sci-fi, more orchestral, more horror, clearer, stranger, older, brighter or more musical.
REMODEL is a simple approach, adapting the source sound by creating experimental variations from it.
