  Yes yes all, the tracks have now all been fully listened to and we can give you the final list of entries for the demo send out………….
  
  Firstly, well done and thank you to every artist who got involved with this and submitted music.
  SO many people talk about learning to produce but never commit to the journey; so, already you have achieved what some will only dream of!
  The quality has been outstanding, and nothing that was sent in was not enjoyed on its merits…
  
  The final folder has been broken down into two sub sections, the top 10 – which is the very best of what we got sent. Then the Next 15 – Great tunes, but couldn’t quite make the top 10. Both of these two sub-folders will make up the final folder of 25 tracks which will get sent out shortly. We’ll reply to you individually with any good news with your music!

  We received more great music from other artists’ but we had to be concise with this list, so couldn’t mention everybody – but keep it up, another submission window will open towards the end of the summer this year
  
  We will be getting back to some people individually with feedback on tracks where we think it might help.
  There were quite a few submissions where to music was strong and the idea was good, but just not technically executed as well as it could be…. This is interesting as in previous submissions it’s often a case of solid mix, but lacking in the music… this is definitely the better place to be and a good sign for those starting out

    Absolutely, all the tracks in the mention list were very close to being included. It’s taken a while as decision making on this has been really tough!

  Thank you for the update and opportunity! Feels great to see my work was even considered. This time last year I barely knew what an EQ was. The DnB community never ceases to amaze me with how willing everyone is to share information and lift each other up. I hope at least one of the top 25 get a release. Would love to hear the tracks!

  Wanted to say thanks to Genie HQ for the opportunity to participate, and give a big shout to the artists I’ve gotten to know this season through the Lamp Sessions! Hopefully some cool opportunities come out of this for people.

  Wowza!! Big ups to everyone who put in the time and energy into making this happen, artists and Genies alike! I know I worked like crazy, and there is still more I wanted to do to the song (edits etc), but ran out of time. People have expressed interest in hearing the other tunes submitted, so here is what I sent in. And again, congratulations to EVERYONE involved in this, to the artists and the Genies. And good luck to all those that will now be waiting to see how the next part of this adventure plays out <3

  However can we ask that others don’t post their submissions to the forum or publicly. To stand the best chance of getting picked up we need to tell everybody the tunes have been on lock down – standard industry protocol!

  Although not hitting the top 25, I am still smiling ear to ear to get a mention !! To say I’ve only been on the production 7 months this has made me feel that I have something to work towards, and not wasting my time! I am literally going to work my hardest all summer to get this next entry in !

  Big ups the sample genie crew! This was my first time sending in some tunes to one of the send outs and im honoured to be in both top 10 and the next 15! Congrats to everyone that got through and to everyone who participated too because even if you didnt make it you still put the effort in thats all that counts in the long run, just keep at it.
  Im excited to see if there will be any interest from anyone you guys send my tunes to! It will really mean a lot to me. Thanks again SG for making this possible!

  Hi Guys,
  
  Just to update you: This project always takes a while. In order to get the tunes to people and to get feedback is quite a long process. We have had some interest and downloads from artists and also we have some feedback from Inside Info on the tracks in the top 10 which we will send back to each artist individually shortly.
  We are also waiting to see if we can get something played on Noisia Radio, so will keep you posted on that.
  Once we have some other news we’ll report back!

  UPDATE: ALL the demo’s from both lists will be getting sent out to all our artist contacts in the next couple of days. This will include anybody we have worked with either in the past or presently. Also to any labels we have not yet sent the music too…
  If we hear anything nice… we’ll let you know
