After watching the qzb tutorials and trying to convert the method into logic.

Spent a day shaping the drums an the rest fell together.

The bassline will be more saturated the next studio session.

Looking for genera over all feedback 🙂

      Hi Greeno!

Nice kind of stylistic exercise! For my ear there should be much more “emptiness” to let the sub do the magic.
I would cut out the 70% of the midrange bass and organising the best 30 on cheesy moments.

I have now uploaded a new version which is this same link.

Took on your advice and stripped back some parts and re arranged.

Hopefully sounding a little better now?

Yes!! for me now its dope.
one more idea. in the beginning of this cool “empty places” it can sound so cool if you send the last motifs of the mid bass to a long tail reverb (2s+) let it slowly release in the background filling up this “holes” with this nice atmospheric tail
      Congratulations on your great work!

        Wicked idea !

I tend to get my arrangement down first, bounce it al down and then start applying fx.

I like to try a technique I have thought of with atmosphere, have it running in the background and when there’s gaps automate the volume to fill.

This is a new technique I hadn’t though of yet so I will give this a bash and will post the update back here once again ina. Few days when I’ve done some work 🙂
