So there is a lot of AI now appearing online. I’ve used ChatGPT and seen what Tiesto did with the Eminem voice creation. What do we think will happen to music production techniques? And also the content within them.

Does anyone have links to some new Music AI production tools to play with?

Great thing to think about, AI can probably be embraced by most producers for starting points, ideas, samples. Much like how things made in Mid Journey can’t really be described as truly creative art, but the images can be incorporated into other designs in a creative way.
AI can streamline production, things like Soothe are verging on AI already, and that kind of mix tool will only get more useful and powerful over time. As with chord progression assistants.
But nothing can replace a human making human art – in our opinion anyway!

I like the starting ideas embracement. I did since this post use ChatGPT to write a rap in the style of a few famous rappers but my story. It was fun and took away some mental hurdles in understanding what I could achieve.

It’s interesting you mention Soothe, as it’s only just come on my radar after seeing some of the artists I follow on Twitter raving about it. I bought it and I have started to use it but my ears are still learning and soothe seems very advanced.

Do any of the Sample Genie producers use Soothe within mixes? If it fits with the Sample Genie way could I request a Soothe tutorial for DNB mixing?

definitely, AI used as tool to enhance the process

re Soothe – Rillium uses it in this month’s video actually, but in a more out of the box / regular way. Teebee did too, just as a great and simple plugin for taming unpleasant frequencies.
To see a more creative / advanced way of using it, go to the stream tab and search for VSTSpotlight002 – Soothe Secrets. It’s a short video by Joe Ford that’s really cool 🙂
