So we are just in the works with him on his first tutorial.
We have some good ideas for what to cover, but thought we’d put it to the crowd a bit here to see what you guys might like to check out with him on this first one…

      ?

I would say drums layering/designing, he is also really good with mixdowns but I think that he’s just very clever with the arrangements.

I would also like to see drum design covered, as I believe it’s definitely one of his strengths!

arrangement, how he uses sounds and FXs to fill the gaps and keep things interesting with so few elements.

I would be most interested in Arkaik’s workflow and how he creates his drums.

So far drums and workflow seem to be most quoted..
Thanks for the input this will be useful – any other ideas, feel free to jot them down

yes ! althought I’m afraid there isn’t much more to it than trial and error, messing about with samples until something catchy comes out.

Very interested in fizzy / static sounding synths or FX, E.G. in tracks like ‘Columns’ & ‘Timelapse’. And anything to do with sub bass movement & processing. Big up!
