PC USERS: Just download the file. Double click and you’re off (just need to assign soundcard)

Flairs FlarrichYeah, so hold on: I easily found and installed something named: “Nord Modular G2 Editor v.1.62” from the Nord-Website. – https://www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads/nord-modular-g2 – It works but it doesn’t play any sounds because I can’t see how I can connect it with my AudioInterface/Soundcard, there is no option anymore it seems. – The .exe-file that is here provided by Current Value seems like it works because it asks me directly to connect it with my Audio Interface & MIDI Keyboard and I can play sounds with it, it has two names (Nord Virtual Modular / Nord Modular G2 Editor v.1.40) but it says it’s actually a Demo-Version. – So, my question: Are v.1.62 from the website and v.1.40 from this dropbox-link actually fundamental different software although they look the same and I can import patches from v1.62 in v.1.40?
GENIE HQ@Flairs – Fundamentally the same software. Yes ignore the download from the Nord site. Just us the .exe file – it’s the one Tim uses.
Patches from 1.62 should be ok to load in 1.40 🙂

You could just open a copy of Audacity or soundforge and have that set up to record the output and then load that file into Ableton. Or you will be able to set up Ableton to directly record it into an audio channel, you might need a soundcard that can create an input from an output to do that though.
Any Ableton users got any advice for that?

What is Sample Genie?
We are a specialist platform designed to help people learn how to make underground D&B through sample packs and tutorials plus other useful information & opportunities.
What do I get as a member?
You can either join as a free member or a full member. Each month we give away a small folder of samples to free members, these are helpful little layers and sounds as well as the odd VSTi patch.
However full members get a new folder of around 80 cutting edge samples each month + a fresh tutorial from one of the team. Inside the site there is also a special forum that members use to exchange ideas, and a place where we post exclusive artist Q&A’s and other bonus material.
How do I sign up?
You just click the ‘Full membership’ tab at the top and follow the instructions, you’ll be prompted to create a new account and also a subscription via PayPal.
Do I need a PayPal account to set up a membership?
Although it’s helpful for you to be able to see your membership inside your paypal account, you can do it without one (CLICK HERE) provided you have a debit / credit card. When setting up the subscription, you can choose ‘Set up without paypal account’ which means you can do it with just a card. This can then only be managed from within your Sample Genie account.
How does Billing work?
When you first sign up, you pay the current months fee on the spot, this gives you access to the latest sample pack and tutorial library. After this you are rebilled on the last day of each month moving forward. This recurring rebilling is for the next months content. So essentially you pay for the forthcoming month a day in advance.
When I sign up do I have access to all of the previous tutorials?

When you sign up, you have instant access to stream every single Sample Genie monthly video form the last 11 years. That’s over 400 videos from 63 artists.
If I leave and then come back do I get to still see videos from previous months when I was a full member?
Yes, videos that were available then will become re-available again.
How do I cancel?
Really easy, you just go to account> subscription and cancel from there. You will still have access to the current month’s content, but no further re billing will occur after this.
Are older sample packs available to buy?
Not at the moment, we keep things fresh and changing each month and don’t redistribute past monthly sample packs. Once they are gone – they are gone.
