ParticipantSo this is nerve racking, but I have “completed” my first ever tune and would appreciate any and all feedback on it. My ears are very much still developing, so I am like a freshly purchased sponge ready to soak up all your wisdom and insight!
Thank you!

KeymasterNice intro, really good texture and sparse arrangement.
Track has a nice vibe, for a first tune this is amazing, genuinely so!
perhaps that top lead could come in 16 bars after the drop and fill up the spectrum a little more with a fuzzy upper mid layer on the bass.
1.29 drop is nice but the sub bass and mid bass could do with gelling together a touch more.
The overall mix is clean but lacks sparkle and loudness, but all that will come with time and the more tunes you make.
Great first effort though, VERY promising indeed! -

ParticipantThank you for the feedback!
I think the hardest thing about this journey has been getting articulate feedback on my track. I’ve asked a lot of people and there have been few responses. So again, thank you for taking the time to listen and give me some direction. The other hardest thing has been the mixing and mastering. My ears are so young, but I have faith that they will improve over time.
Also, I want to thank you again because I wouldn’t be here today if I hadn’t found your teaser video on YouTube and then took the Joe Ford Ableton course when the Pandemic hit. After that, I have been watching a lot of your previous seasons and trying to absorb as much as possible. You’re all legends in my book.
Cheers.
